On The Road to Writing

Ok. Let's get started.

I've been running too fast the last three years to sit down and keep my writing skills sharp. I've started to look around for articles and starting points on the net and I have found a wealth of wonderful information. So, instead of just hoarding it, I decided to create a sort of central clearing house for the things I find that are helping me to keep focused, motivated and sharp.

I've been writing all my life. As a child I wrote stories and poetry. As an adult, I kept on writing creatively, but I also added to my knowledge base by writing as a career. I have worked for newspapers, magazines, television and radio stations, and even at a small publishing house.

Now I want to sit back and learn how to ENJOY writing again. I want to feel the electricity running through my body when a creative streak hits me. I want to mold a new world through words. I want to get back in the saddle and do what I love best -- write.

So, I will begin posting a series of helping articles that I have written or that I have found online. I will also post some great writing exercises and links to helping writing communities.
