VDay 2007 Reclaiming Peace
I wanted to draw some attention the upcoming Vagina Festival http://www.vaginafestival.com/
The Vagina Festival is all about raising awareness about violence against women. As stated on the website, "at least one out of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime — with the abuser usually someone known to her."
They'll have speakers, dancers, musicians, singers, performance art, and more. A presentation of VAGINA MONOLOGUES is also planned.
If you are anywhere that is even halfway reasonably close to NYC, please particiapte.
