Talk to Me, Liev
I just got my tickets to see Liev Schreiber in Talk Radio at the Longacre Theatre. It's nice to have Schreiber back on Broadway. I try to see whatever he happens to be in. Last summer I saw him in the lead role in MacBeth in Central Park. Of course, those ticket were free. Talk Radio tickets mean I have to skip my morning coffee for several weeks make up for the splurge.
Schreiber has been called the greatest stage actor of his generation and I happen to agree. The man's a powerhouse on stage and steals any show he's in. It's less apparent on TV and on the big screen, but that scene stealing is still there.
And he's going to be a father. His girlfriend, Naomi Watts, is carrying his spawn. I'm hoping they're secretly married already.
